Políticas del sentir
PICIFFyH

Title
Politics of Feeling
Abstract
This project proposes to analyze a corpus of contemporary Argentine narratives written by women and sexual dissidents, through the notion of technologies of affect, understood as the set of discursive and formal strategies through which literature produces and modulates collective sensibilities. The corpus is composed of works published between 2010 and 2025, some issued by major publishers and with wide social and academic recognition, and others from smaller publishers with more limited circulation within literary circuits. The authors of these works are women and sexual dissidents (Aboaf, Néspolo, Schweblin, Bazterrica, Reyes, Cabezón Cámara, among others), and rather than being treated as essential ontological categories, these are understood as social variables that guide the selection and delimitation of the corpus. This research seeks to explore the relationships among affectivity, biopolitics and community in the Argentine context following the emergence of the feminist movement. The study is theoretically situated at the intersection of a feminist reading of the affective turn (Ahmed, Berlant, Illouz) and interdiscursive analysis (Angenot, Foucault), with the purpose of understanding how these fictional works shape ways of feeling that influence contemporary political imaginaries. Through a qualitative and comparative approach, dominant affects in recent literature, including guilt, fear, empathy, desire, grief and rage, will be examined as forms of social knowledge and devices of resistance against contemporary regimes of control, disaffection or emotional anaesthesia.
